Anyone know when Kooks Co bought Number (N)ine? I'm eyeing a N(N) (not N(n) by Number (N)ine) that seems to be very old, but has the Kooks label as well.

edit: lots of conflicting info online. Some say 2002 (meaning legit) and other say 2008 (not so legit). I'm not sure if the 2008 is them mixing up Number (N)ine and N(N) by Number (N)ine.

I'm trying to get a nice gift for my girlfriend for her birthday coming up and I was looking at this Gitman Bros. belted, button down, sleeveless linen dress thing and it fits her style really well but it's pink and she rarely ever wears pinks...

SO

Would it be better just to leave it as is (pink) and see what she says or should I try and dye it myself? I've dyed a couple pairs of chinos black so I could wear them at work but I'm not sure. It's 100% cotton.

I would be prepared to buy her something else if it comes out looking really ass, basically. But if you think you can do a good job of it go for it.

What does 'deformation' mean on Rakuten? Like distressed? I see it on a ton of stuff but haven't been able to figure out an exact meaning.

Do leather vans slip ons run larger than canvas ones? My size ten canvas slip ons are a bit tight but I tried on a pair of leather ones (not the color I want) and the ten fit perfectly. Nervous about ordering online.

I think the brand is called "Ever". Guess they in 2011. I remember doing some googling out of sheer curiosity years ago after seeing the logo a bunch on How I Met Your Mother. To find out the name just now I searched lol

Would it say Y's For Men on the tag if it's that line? Not too interested in a women's coat as the proportions will most likely be off.

Also, what's the difference between YYPH, Yohji Yamamoto and Y's?

Y's Yohji Yamamoto is Yohji's original line, and is now considered something of a diffusion line. Yohji Yamamoto and Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme are his current main lines and are for women and men respectively. Y's for Men, Costume D'Homme, and Coming Soon are all lines that no longer currently operate.

I'm looking for good boxers. I don't want boxer briefs, I don't find those very comfy.

Qualifications:
Cloth-covered waistband
Flat locked stitching along the inner leg. Chain-stitching with the raised flap is very uncomfortable.
Tagless (this isn't as much of a deal breaker, I can always remove the tags myself)

Bonus qualities:
Comes in multi-packs
Available using Amazon Prime, or at least Amazon in some capacity.

I currently have a bunch of US Polo Assn boxers, but I'm asking if there's anything better. I've heard many good things about Ex Officio except the waistband isn't covered... Thanks!

Anyone here short (under 5'9) and have RO drop crotch sweatpants? I'm looking at a pair but am concerned by the length, could hem them a bit but too much and then the crotch is way too low and it might look funny..

could anyone recommend me a jacket similar to this EG cruiser:

something wool, olive, and military-styled. that jacket actually isn't ideal for me, it's just the closest to it that I've found so far. I also like the olive Ashfield jacket.

price range is ideally <$500 but very flexible on that.

What are some good leads for a red wool coat? Not bright stop-sign red but not wine either, sort of a middle burgundy, rich red with maybe a dab of orange. Nice buttons a plus, no shackets or toggle buttons. Men's equivalent of these?

Could be a peacoat cut or something else, any brand or vintage recommendations would be appreciated.

I think that it is not. Cowichan, etc., If you prefer a thick knit, how about you? It is cool there is atmosphere!
