speaking of which its crazy to hear people complaining about c-t being a 'hugbox' or what have you. yes, it's certainly more friendly than anywhere else. in fact, purely 'negative' criticism is rarely given, even on fits that may be laughed at on other forums.
but wait - what kind of baseline is that -
the fact there isn't *much* bullying is basis for calling this place 'too nice'. what an indicator of how far removed the internet is from reality. constructive criticism is doled out in heaps on c-t (as opposed to pure vitriol) - which is still criticism. it may not be an apt comparison, but in real life, even constructive criticism is still relatively harsh to hear when you're sharing something. I think it is indeed constructive and people can keep giving it, but I can't believe internet fashion and the net in general is so damn adversarial that people treating each other like humans is strongly looked down upon by some. which is absolutely pitiful.
