just bought the jacket. I sized one up because it seemed to be a little longer/larger than my size S efc shirt, which is ideal for one sweatshirt and a shirt. Also bought 3 heattech t-shirts in a Large.
I guess I'll write a review for the stuff when I get it.

soo i didn't hear about this until now i guess but this is the newest H&M Design Award winner/collabo. it's pricey and women's only but the construction/quality is legit.

primark (super fast fashion, super cheap) have apparently entered the selvedge jeans game and they're yours for £18

not sure what the point is as their target market is hardly interested in selvedge but could go nicely with their

Those jeans are also pretty much an apc fit and they're raw too.

Peacoat and mac from that collection are objectively nice too.

I should know.

they come in black pony hair, black croc leather and in a fireworks pattern.

Bobbin already in the loop with this but John Lewis has some interesting propositions. Knitwear from the John Lewis Co brand particularly looks a steal.

Wool Alpaca Silk blend knit, made in Italy, £79

I wonder how long some of those scarves are.

Gap has some Margom or Margom lookalikes.

Cps, Ocbd and raw denim is mall tier now?

i lol'd at bela for rec'ing john lewis (bastion of white middle class english respectability) but then bought the deconstructed blazer anyway.
i feel like no stone should be left unturned in the hunt for the perfect casual blazer

straddling the high street boundary but i bought a couple of knits from whistles in the 25% off thing. both look pretty substantial but dunno where i should set the bar at having only handled one thing by them. will report back when they arrive.

COS also have 20% off and free shipping but honestly i can't find anything i even want to try buying from the site just now. really wanted a scarf but it's already sold out :\

Went to cos the other day on a trip around brum Christmas market, usual selection of cos-ness but there was this sick hooded coach without the draw string hems, removable snap hood (large and roomy++) with a fully lined body, zip inside pockets and a great outer zip. Not on the uk site but it was all very swish. There is also an acne Vancouver rip which is not on the uk site, fold away hood which the material feels great on, like a very light moleskin or suede-esq fabric, great length x cut.

for those who asked, this john lewis deconstructed blazer ended up going straight back (sorry didn't have time for fit pics).
plus points: lovely abraham moon flannel, patch pockets, decent slouchy fit
negatives: material is not really casual/textured enough for my liking (it could actually be a suiting material), button point is too high. overall feels like it's intended to be a 'smart' jacket while i look for a more rustic/workwear jizz in casual blazers.

Muji Labo best high street collab since +J

some decent deconstructed blazers there, 20% off at the moment too. Not particularly cheap though, around £180.

Whistles stuff is much more interesting in the flesh than I thought it would be but the prices are still a bit too grotesque.

i backed both my knits from whistles and bought one of them again in the 30% off. like u say bela, much nicer irl, quite impressed but still unsure about whether i'll keep it. pushing 100 for a high street knit makes me feel a bit weird especially considering the price i copped that schneider at. but the material and fit are great and when i compare it to cos knits that are maybe 30 cheaper i think it's not bad.

madness at retail tho

i actually bought my first thing from cos in ages a few weeks ago and forgot to mention it. the store close to me was having a night of 30% off and i randomly stumbled in while trying to get out of the cold. picked up the flannel shirt (sized up) which is actually really nice... pretty heavyweight soft fluffy flannel and is almost lined inside (like an overshirt).

Yeah Whistles is a bit awkward. The stuff is nice but it seems like a difficult proposition at that price. I'm not sure much of it will make a deeper discount though.

In other news, I bought the Labo parka:

There was an extra 10% off when I went in yesterday which clinched it. Labo a/w also has:

Some nice pocket knits.

Thick breton stripe tshirts.

Wool blazers

Corduroy trousers.

Unfortunately the side adjuster trousers they had in the S/S have not made a return.

Wish it was sold online in the UK.

yeah this is exactly what i'm looking for!!! french villager with edge! i'm posting this is here 'cos while i was middle class shopping in marks and spencer i saw these amazing thick whale cords in the BEST blue... like beautiful blue, so i tried them on and cuffed them a few times and they're proper wide / anti-fit-without-realising, but the cord is quite stiff so they keep a really nice shape / silhouette. they were out of a 30 waist so i ordered them in and i'll see how they go... (will fit pick)

not wide moleskin pants but hey ho
