Hasn't sf concluded that ten c fabric is very cool but not functional/practical whatsoever to actually own given how it wears down and starts to wet out ?

I can't imagine buying one.

Actually recent reviews of ten-c (in particular by zissou FWIW) have been more positive.

I really want one now and anyway it's just whatever DWR treatment they use that's wearing out, it's easy enough to just reapply some scotchguard or whatever. Also supposedly ten-c fabric is the same fabric used by Bentley for their soft-top convertible hoods?
