Brands like universal works or cathart will also make deck jackets, Albam also, gap probably has one as they're quite popular ATM I'm sure you can find one which fits your price range

might also help if you post some fits that you like, or other styles of jackets you're into. fwiw, i second the gap recommendation. i had a field parka from them that was too big for me, but the quality was surprisingly nice. maybe try norse projects, olive spencer, apc, brands like that as well.

Found this same jacket on carhartt WIP, but only the green version is on sale, and the collars might be hard for me to pull off.

I already bought (two of) the lightweight unlined olive parka below and I wanna do some diy additions to at least one, so i'm soliciting your opinions on some photoshopped ideas. What do you like or hate and why? Any ideas for other cool things to DIY with this parka?

The below would be fabric machine-stitched on the outside, for the eyes-one I might want to do a longer fur or pile fleece material for the whites of the eyes.

1. Eyes

2. Eyes with face

3. Ooze with off white maple leaf fabric (thin)

4. Ooze with Brooks Brothers oxford cloth fabric

this one (tomsfood-recommended/approved) is very nice for the price . some slight structure going on in the shoulders, but eh.

if you want to spend more, EG bedford or harris wharf london (currently on sale)

Want a messenger bag. Doesn't need to be huge, don't need to carry textbooks or anything, more like my laptop (14.5 inch screen), a notebook, papers, maybe a waterbottle and dslr. Don't want leather, prefer the mission workshop esque stuff.

Hopefully shipped from europe, super dope would be shipped from germany. Maybe ~100 eu max?

Which Samba?

Adidas Originals Samba ($70)
Image

or?

Adidas Soccer Samba ($55)

What's the difference, besides 15 dollars? Is the "Original" of significantly better quality than the "Soccer"? Is one more suitable than the other for use at the gym? Does anyone have an opinion on the silhouette of either?

the 'soccer' model with the extended tongue is actually the OG samba if you care about cultural context, which I assume you do because you're buying sambas.

I recommend margiela trainers, or a different Adidas trainers. I don't think sambas are particularly comfortable and the slim sole is slightly out of fashion.

can't not get the big tongue

gotta fold it over

busenitz is a good option too, basically a samba+skate sole unit

Care-friends, I can't decide which colour to cop.

Image

Or

Image

Grey is a heavy coating wool with a DWR treatment, navy is new ervell fabric a heavyweight cotton twill bonded to a polyurethane membrane. I'm agonising over this. What say you, care-tags?

Yo guys. It's been a while.

I'm on the hunt for a men's version of the 6397 for my boyfriend. I just got one and he's super jealous.

Otherwise, if there's a similar looking jumpsuit for men, that'd be cool. I don't think 6397 makes one? He's like men's M or something. No budget, just trying to see what's out there.

For me, the ultimate mac coat is the Connection Coat from Deluxe.

I'm also in the market for one. I've posted a bunch of varying ideas and brands on this pinterest board: http://www.pinterest.com/blissfoster/mac-coat-inspo/

Private White unlined SB4 is the mac coat I'd buy. Shame they've jacked the price so much though.

Looking for a jacket almost exactly like this one but with a soft lining.

I like
- The hood
- The material
- Small, tight cuffs

LL Bean didn't have something similar.
