Hey guys, my band has its first ever headline gig on Friday (tomorrow) in Stourbridge, Birmingham :D.

Its a long shot, but if anyone's around and fancies a bit of funky music, its at Base Studios, a ten min walk from Stourbridge Junction train station. We're on at 10pm and will be off by 10:45 at the very latest, which gives plenty of time to get the last trains out of there! Doors open at 7.30.

lol really excited today because my group in class launched a plastic bottle rocket

and it was the best. It went the highest, and the parachute deployed, allowing the flight time to be best in class.

and as a result, a perfect 100 on the rocket. Shoutout to my partner for actually taking the time to work with me.

I'm not too far into it yet but I've been enjoying it. Reading up on people's opinions it seems his style was controversial and the characters are hard to relate to, but I haven't had an issue yet at around 60 pages in. I think I just decided I'm gonna only listen to Bop from now on when I read it

i was cooking a frozen mcmuffin esque sandwich in the mini oven for like 20 minutes until i realized it was on broil... so i put it on bake and waited another 10 minutes until i realized it wasn't plugged in... hopefully this is not an indication of how my day overall will go

Black holes freak me out. Not because of stars getting sucked into them or light being unable to escape them, I'm over that stuff. It's the fact that the reason they behave the way they do is that they have too much mass to have any volume. The forces that stop things from being in the same place are not enough to counter the sheer gravitational force it exerts on itself so it just falls into its own centre of mass.

It's literally too big to have a size and that's really weird.

Also the way they represented the black hole in Interstellar is really cool, it's actually fascinating to see how one might actually appear if we were close enough to see it.

accent is good! i'm getting 'excuse me, what are you doing right now (middle is a bit slurred, couldn't fully understand), how to say it in english?'. your accent just needs more stressed intonations, and a bit more staccato.

also i totally recommend the pimsleur method. i've had great results with french using the pimsleur, and i've glossed over the canto course and found that it's really helpful with accents and sentence structure.
