briefing stuff is really nice but i don't think anything fits your aesthetic. north face bags are great, but the logo might be a turn off.

suede pulls are a pain in the ass (they're not attached that well to the zippers), one of the inner pockets has started to rip, the side pockets can't really hold anything, there's no padding in the shoulder straps so it's not super comfortable if you're carrying heavy stuff for a long time. their customer service is kind of ass from what i've read. if you get a lamina bag, then everything gets worse.

aesthetically the bag is great, and i've been using it for a few years, but it's not any better than my old north face bag (other than it uses a lot more suede) and it cost like 6x as much.

i only have a lexdray shoulder bag, but it uses neoprene for some of the pouches/pockets, which i don't love. it's nice overall, but i haven't seen the backpacks so i can't really compare.
