Shit, say what? For real? That's certainly massively interesting - all the more so because we'll be in HK in 2 weeks!

Got any more info on them? YYPH/Y's? Material? Size?

(Also if you happen to know anywhere in HK to find yohji stuff other than Y-3 do share)

EDC dudes:

what are some reasonable and nice bottle opening solutions?
'
i carried something like this:

through high school and college but they always get stripped and at this point I'd like something slightly less obvious.

I've had this makr bottle opener key for about a year:

but it kind've sucks dick and i've fallen out of love with it.

I have a carabiner i'm attached to but would consider a bottle opener carabiner if it looks and feels good.

I like atwood stuff but getting your hands on it seems like trying to cop supreme gear

Makr one seems like it'd be a bitch to open with with only one point of contact and all the leverage parallel with it.

cameron-, I've been eyeing the Corter Bottlehook for this purpose for a while.

A heads up, apparently the paint on the painted varieties chips off very easily.

Thoughts on the Outlier Nyco Freeshell? I've been thinking about picking up some kind of hooded rain jacket. Theoretically something that I could bike even though biking in the rain sounds awful no matter what. I'm usually not really into technical jackets or anything Northfacey (sorry ben) because they're so saturated here.

Jacket is sort of whatever tech, is it permeable? I have a lightweight running jacket that I wore when I used to think cycling in the rain was a reasonable way to get around, but even in minimal drizzle it wet through on my arms and my shirt sleeves got wet.

I dunno what the fuck the deal is with cycling in the rain x arriving not a mess. I sort of formally gave up on the idea of bike as wet weather transport and now either walk or drive car.

Body is Schoeller dryskin and sleeves are their Nyco fabric (50/50 cotton nylon blend) with dwr coating. I don't think it would be any good in a real downpour but light rain should be fine and is all I really need. I mean my current solution when it rains is to wear a hooded sweatshirt, and maybe a harrington jacket over it. Umbrella if I really planned ahead.

the outlier softshell looks good. i'm skeptical about the length and cut and hood but those are all things you can only judge when you get your hands on it.

definitely better than the last iteration with the paneling.

apc jeans are the officially sponsored care-tags Jean, however the correct answer is probably whichever one fits you better.

don't the dad jeans have a much fuller cut than new standards? i guess if you went tts with ns they'd be fuller, but i don't really think of the two as being very similar.
