only my +J suit trousers (which sucks bc i have a wedding to attend next month) and UU trousers (which probably look better fucked up), so nothing valuable but yeah i don't want it to spread... cba to spend bare £££ dry-cleaning everything though.
i think judging by the fibrous residue moths are to blame

what's crazy is that the +J joints were fine in August. at least the holes are small.

if i dry clean them i should probably get the jacket cleaned at the same time, right?

Looked down today and realized I was wearing clothing made in Sweden, Japan, China, Ireland, and England. Designed in all those places but also America and Switzerland. I was born in Georgia and attend the University of Georgia. Economics and modern society are crazy sometimes.

So anyway I have this bright orange cotton parka from Nigel Cabourn... I don't know what I've done. How will I wear this.

Don't overthink that ryce, it'll go over anything. Bright orance is the best parka colour, narrowly beating out yellow.

It's 'a look', yunno, so it isn't really the sum of its parts. I mean to say it's not a bright orange jacket, it's an exploration jacket. I really love Cabourn, and this is going to look so good, especially if you have a nice waffle knit jumper or something with thick ribbing.

Kind of Wes Anderson-y, but in a good way. I'd 100% wear this.

so i've been looking for a parka, i have shells but they wont keep me warm on the cold nights. first choice was cpc or si but those prices are far more than i want to pay for the style i'm after which is around 1-3 tonnes. criteria for the coat is something which looks like it could be slotted into the 80's 90's wardrobe of someone on their way to an oasis gig in either burgundy, khaki or navy. would be nice if it had somewhat of a high neck when zipped up which comes to the chin, bonus points if it has those little toggle things.

kasson is the strongest at this point on the price/look front

I don't know what goes on backstage but I know margiela is pretty crap without margiela, jil was crap under jil 2.0 and I can't see it getting back to where it should be by pulling her from the team.

and even when there isn't a huge designer in the limelight, the design team still has a creative director. so when I read 'the team' I also kindve infer 'we have someone but they are a bit crap'

had to interview this dude that packs three bags full of clothes for a four day long trip. always has to look good and have lots of clothing options. it was like looking into a mirror and i was horrified.
