last summer my aunt invited me to live with her in Madrid for a month or so and I had to leave the apartment to cry in the corner of the street or go to Retiro park to lay under a tree and cry or cry on the metro. my aunt was a bitch most of the time and I felt lonely because I couldn't make that close of connections w people since I was only there for a month. it was sad being sad in a beautiful city

I've often had shit like this with extended family and it sucks - In fact I was asked to stay with an aunt in Rome for 3 weeks and she made me so unhappy that it ended up giving me panic attacks because I didn't know what kind of mood she would be in. I ended up managing to leave early but it ruined Rome.
