I listened to the first podcast and I'd like to share my initial thoughts for whoever's interested.

Very professional for a first episode and you guys did a good idea introducing everyone etc.

Something I noticed was that the topics seemed to be very on track with not much room for tangents. I would personally like it more if it was a more relaxed atmosphere where the crew (whoever that may be) talked about whatever but with an underlying fashion theme and of course had topics for when the conversation got stale.

I realize it is a fashion podcast but I don't think the show should be confined to very strict guidelines.

All in all I enjoyed it, nice work.

Can we please have a hangout just for hanging out? Sort of like the tinychat we had?

Also, maybe two guests a show then? (But I think having three would be cool just for a roundtable sort of thing.)

I also like the idea of an non focused "hangout" so it's more open and flexible to people saying what they want without necessarily feeling pressured to know a lot about one particular topic.

Ahhhh I just listened I really liked this, I know I'm not a super active poster all the time but I'd love to be on sometime just by virtue of having only one or two people irl to talk fashion with. The internet is just nothing like actual live talking conversation, yeah?

The "internet fashion" topic sounds really interesting.

Yeah that's a really interesting topic you added there smiles. It's a definite trend, though it's not one I'm party to or know much about.

As far as I can tell it's the same sort of reactionary narrative you see when designers are born out of a zeitgeist. For example, Vivienne Westwood came up through the punk scene, and melded together those themes with higher fashion design. These guys are coming up through (I think) chav culture, 90's/00's garage scene, grime etc in the same way and are walking a similar path.

They have really strong looks.

yeah it's very much in the moment. I dont reckon you could get into CSM of LCF this year with a portfolio full of brocaded jerseys and hair on leather sweat shorts. Wonder what the next thing is gonna be. I'll be visiting the csm MA fashion course this December. might be able to sneak a peek.

Dwindles I'd love for you to be guest. I think we have space for one other guest. I want the hosts to be sort of moderator, provoker but ultimately the guests are providing the insights. any volunteers?

Who added the 'knockoffs and fakes' thing? That's a really big deal now. I've been speaking to a lot of professionals recently about this new type of thing and whoever wrote it is on point. Even the MIA x Versace line is based on fakes and bootlegs.
