super lightweight nyco blend and a removable hood, so it's awesome for spring/fall. plus the fabric has this great subtle damask pattern and sorta iridescent which is always a plus in my book. detail pic ft. cat

Got a really lovely Christian Wijnants coat in stock sales yesterday!

Construction is lovely, including a very interesting button closure on the inside. The color is very interesting, can't seem to figure out if its green, brown or camel-ish? Think it's green in direct sunlight. Material is 100% wool with viscose lining, and has a really nice texture to it.

I really enjoy how bulky it is around me and how interesting the sleeve length is. My only (minor) issue with it is that the belt loops are very low for me, and since I'm not a huge fan of dropped waists I don't quite like how it looks when the belt is tied, but I'm not expecting to wear it much like that anyways.

Unfortunately I have never found a similar coat in a store in Australia at a similar price point. And I'd have to move to Melbourne to be able to wear it more than once a year anyway.

Finally get to join the club.
My qt3.14 gf found me this coat at an antique shop and it just happened to fit well. Only had to get a few adjustments done at the tailor.

Guess i haven' posted about this yet. Mom got me this coat for christmas and i've unfortunately only gotten the chance to wear it twice. Its quite nice. The inside has a removable warm lining which has its own internal pocket near the bottom of the coat, good for rolled up newspapers and candies. When the liner is removed, the pockets are right near my pants pockets so theyre nice and accessible.

Overall, i really love this and the water resistance has been very useful. Thanks mom :-)

I don't know how old this coat is but it's old. It might've been my grandfather's but I don't know.
It's surprising how heavy the coat is when holding it. It has some cool features like fleece lined pockets, hidden buttons and very structured shoulders too

Another old coat. This one is as heavy as it looks, probably a couple of pounds. It's extremely thick and warm with deep pockets perfect for keeping hands toasty while holding all sorts of other stuff. It's rather loose with low buttons which makes me think it's made for there to be a blazer worn underneath.

this season has been very disappointing, i didn't buy a single coat (well actually i bought a lemaire, a marni and an acne, but none made the grade). AW17 is already showing promise though, my next purchase will prob be studio nicholson
