Working out what is sustainable isn't as much of a headfuck if you think about it rationally. No matter what anyone says animal products are not sustainable. In that instance an animal is a machine that you have to feed plants to for years, kill and skin or shear - saying nothing about the horror of it all.

Im so disappointed in Veja for using leather at all. They use it because its easy - and the problem is not just 'deforestation'.

absent mindedly picked this one up off the shelf the other day at roden gray and was shocked at how light it was



definitely not buying a pair but I'm curious how they hold up

also curious how the lab dunk lows are if anyone happens to see them

these were a cupsole and the product description has "Lightweight UltraCush™ rubber outsoles" in it. it was squishy in a way that normal vans soles aren't as well
