Which combo is best for a casual event? The pocket square has frayed edges but can be folded to look normal too, I don't know how to fold one so just kinda stuck it in there. Should I wear a belt? If no tie, should I button up the collar or have it open? And lastly, is the jacket too short? Thanks.

Edit: How much should I believe the people over at SF's CM forum who say the jacket is too short and the button is too high? I can't do anything about either but just wondering if their advice applies to casual suits like this one (Dries).

I'm thinking about getting shoes that might fit a bit too big on me. Could I use an insole to counteract this if they're too big?

edit: thanks!

so i'm trying to buy a pair of eytys mother suede but i'm wondering about sizing. i'm a true 9.5 and i wear 9.5 in all vans. the website says to size up if you're a half size but i heard someone else said that they sized up and it was too big?? so should i go for a 9 or a 10?

edit: thanks guys. waiting on a 43 black mother suede coming in tomorrow :woop:

really general question but any recs for versatile, creative accessories? Thinking in particular of bracelets, wristbands, etc. Nothing too expensive.

Margaret Howell is mega expensive formalwear, MHL is mega expensive workwear.

One of the better conceptualised diffusion lines IMO

Anyone have any advice on what to wear under this if I don't wanna go barechested? Mandarin collars? v-neck, crew-neck, scoop-neck; white, black, grey?

Or is not going barechested just defeating the whole purpose of getting this?

Looking to buy a pair of the Story MFG. TRF shoes but I dunno how to size. Some sizing charts say that the difference between US and UK sizes is 0.5 and others say it's 1. If I wear a US 9.5 (42 in birkenstocks), do I get the UK 8 or 9? thanks in advance.

anyone have major heel drag and wear af1's? had a pair before a few years back and they got a hole in the sole in 8 months which is p crap when worn in rotation. not sure if i just wore them harder than i remember or other people share the issue.

only ask as nike ID has full canvas models atm and u can recreate that sick sup x af1 but they cost £100, which is a 50% increase over the regular ones!

Seriously struggling with a black pants conundrum, I'm torn between just getting another pair of black skinny dickies which are seriously like 25 bucks and fit pretty much ideally and have a phone pocket on the side of the leg, and spending up to 10x that on like max cashes or stoney jeans Basically looking for cool fade pictures or good arguments for/against ya kno

Re: Ask a question, get an answer

Postby panda » Tue Jul 26, 2016 5:35 pm

Bought a pair of $300 jeans on sale for $190 on designer's webstore and the inseam is 4-6 inches shorter than the 32 inches listed on the size guide. There are 4 buttons and 5 holes. I have 2 pairs of the same jeans in different colors with the correct inseam and five buttons. Customer service told me they are not defective and there is variation in inseam sizes depending on wash. They said each pair in that size and wash has the inseam mine has but there is nothing on the size guide indicating variation between washes. My past two emails haven't received a reply until I send another email saying "I haven't received a response to this" weeks later. Am I in the wrong or are they playing me?

battenwear anoraks r cool, the "this is a solid jacket which u'll look nice in" type of cool admittedly, would suggest looking out for a old season raeburn pull over if u want straight jawn cool.

Maj suggestions are good. If you want cheaper then arktis has some goodies. Also just cruising eBay can reveal some nice "non fashion"pieces. Like this http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/201628957411?_mwBanner=1
